Woodworking Pictures
Woodworking is an avocation that is both relaxing and that provides a great deal of satisfaction from both the process and the finished products.  This web page serves as an opportunity to share the results of some woodworking projects.

We have a long driveway that requires periodic maintenance.  Coupled with yard maintenance, this justified the purchase of a small tractor.  In 2001, we purchased an old Ford 9N.  Knowing what I know now, I never would have bought this tractor.  However, it will be an interesting restoration project when our son gets old enough to appreciate the knowledge to be gained from such a project.  In 2005, we purchased a John Deere 420 that had been well maintained and had just been professionally repainted.  In addition to being more mechanically sound, it came with depth control rather than the 9N's draft control -- a definite plus when trying to blade the driveway.  I can now reliably blade the driveway without having the blade moving up and down as the tractor tries to balance its engine load.
